A new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet software update, known as version 1.2.0, will be released later this month.
As previously announcned, this update is due to arrive towards the «end of February», although there is no firm date as yet. It is set to add «features to Pokémon Boxes» and address a variety of bugs that «affect game progress» in both Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, among other things.
These include fixes for those rogue Poké Balls that were sometimes displayed in certain locations of the field unintentionally and an issue that meant the main character's expressions did not change until a user's game was closed and then reopened.
Accompanying the patch notes for this update, the Scarlet and Violet team stated it «will continue to take your feedback very seriously and take measures to improve your gameplay experience». This is similar to what Nintendo said back in December, when the company acknowledged the game's numerous performance problems.
