Ellie actress Bella Ramsey got a black eye on the set of HBO's The Last of Us, as part of a mishap during a pivotal sequence. This story contains spoilers for The Last of Us.
Speaking to IGN, Ramsey said she got hurt in the Episode 5 sequence where Ellie is fighting for her life trying to escape the hordes of Clickers. «It was incredibly stressful but in a way that felt amazing. I got so many bruises. I actually got a real black eye at one point,» Ramsey said.

Ramsey got smacked in the eye from a Clicker who was flailing around during a death sequence. «Accidentally, the poor guy whacks me in the eye. I was so proud of it [the black eye]. I had a great time,» Ramsey said.

New episodes of The Last of Us air Sunday nights on HBO (with the exception of Episode 5, which premiered a couple days early to avoid a clash with the Super Bowl).
