Atomic Heart is just two days from launch and, as has been the trend recently, the first five hours of gameplay have been leaked online. I say "leaked", but it seems that the person who streamed the game is showing their channel and face, like any normal streamer would.
YouTuber Garythelians does a series where – by their own admission – they get their hands on and stream a game before the release date, probably via a retailer. As for the gameplay itself, well, I don't have five hours to sit and watch the whole thing, but I did skip ahead and see a few bits. I skipped the introduction because I wanted to experience that for myself, but the rest of it looks pretty much like the gameplay we've seen in the promotional material – which was pretty cool, but worrying at the same time. Worrying because the game didn't look any different from the trailer even after five hours. But as I said, I skipped past it, so I definitely missed a lot.

The modern Soviet visual aesthetic looked pretty good. But the stand-out was the way you collect loot – by simply pointing your glove at drawers and cabinets to open them and vacuum in all the loot by miniaturizing it. There were also tunnels of water floating in the air which could get you from one place to another. Again, none of this is new, and you can just wait two more days to check the game out for yourself.
I didn't get a chance to listen to it properly, but the game's OST has been composed by Mick Gordon, so it's probably going to be good.
