Sons of the Forest has become Steam's new darling. Endnight Games' survival horror title created headlines by becoming the most wishlisted game on Steam, despite being an indie title by a relatively small dev. However, this didn't seem to matter to many people, as the numbers just kept rising, despite the game receiving multiple delays. The gameplay trailer, which came out nearly two years ago, really worked wonders with its stunning visuals and animations.
Well, the game has launched in Early Access, and it has been scoring high numbers across the board. It hit 250,000 concurrent players just hours after launch, and has already received 18,000 Very Positive Steam reviews. However, the game has also reached another massive milestone, one that eclipses the ones already mentioned. According to developer Endnight Games, Sons of the Forest has sold 2 million copies within a day of its launch.
