As previously announced, comic books from an attractive lineup of popular game franchises, including Pokemon, Far Cry, Street Fighter, and Final Fight, will be available on Free Comic Book Day 2024, which is scheduled for May 4. Fans will be able to walk in and pick up free copies at any participating retailer, which can be located using the official website, around the world. Among the video game-based comic books available for free are the first issues of Pokemon Adventures: Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Far Cry: Cull the Herd, andStreet Fighter vs Final Fight.
Coming to their content, Pokemon Adventures: Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire is one that directly takes inspiration from its namesake Nintendo 3DS game counterparts, whereas Far Cry: Cull the Herd portrays a story featuring a number of villains from the Far Cry series like Vaas and Pagan Min. Moreover, Street Fighter vs Final Fight pits the characters of the two different game franchises together against each other in a crossover event that spans multiple eras from the very first Final Fight all the way to Street Fighter 6.
