The so-called Expansion Pass for Persona 3 Reload is now available to pre-order in regions where it's the 12th March — which means that we now know how much it's going to cost. In New Zealand, for example, it's priced at $56.95, which roughly equates to £30 in the UK and $35 in the US.
Just to be crystal clear, this is the cost of the full Expansion Pass, which includes two minor DLC packs — to be released in March and May, respectively — and the Episode Aigis expansion, which is set for September.
We don't yet know if Episode Aigis can be purchased separately. The expansion itself doesn't have its own PS Store page at the time of writing, and so we're left wondering whether it's only available through the aforementioned pass. We'll be sure to keep you updated once we know more (and the official pricing has been revealed in other territories).
What do you make of this price point? Is it about what you expected? Follow Aigis into the depths of Tartarus, otherwise known as the comments section below.
Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.
I need details on what kind of changes they're making before I can evaluate whether or not it'd be worth the extra cost. I couldn't even finish The Answer in FES, because the focus on hard mode dungeon crawling and lack of social links were a turn-off. I watched all the cutscenes on YT, and the story didn't click with me very much. If they make the difficulty more accessible and flesh out the story more with added interactions with the other SEES members and the reviews are positive, I could see myself getting this (ideally standalone).
I will preorder this without hesitating while the digital stock lasts
