A fan-made Minthara cosplay from has highlighted the drow character’s gentler side, without dispensing her authority figure altogether. Minthara is one of the possible companions in the award-winning RPG by Larian Studios. Introduced as an antagonist, the character can be partnered with and even saved, though players are required to lean into an evil-aligned playthrough – which, in turn, makes them part ways with a few other companions in . Minthara is known for her severity and ruthlessness, but there is more to her than it initially seems.
This was perfectly captured by the cosplayer known as Lady Melamori, who shared their cosplay on X (formerly Twitter). The cosplay is depicted in two distinct pictures within the same photoshoot. In the first picture, the Minthara cosplay sits at the edge of a table, with candles illuminating the background. The cosplayer boasts a gentle smile, unlike how Minthara tends to portray herself in public.
The second image has Minthara standing behind the table, illuminated by the aforementioned candles. The candles’ warm light is an important part of the cosplay’s composition, as it highlights a gentler side to the character.

As was previously mentioned, Minthara is known for her ruthlessness. During the player’s first interactions, she can be hard to deal with and clings to her problematic ideals. This can be seen, for instance, in the decisive and commanding pose the cosplayer uses in the second picture, where the Minthara cosplay leans on the table, puts a hand on her hip, and looks intently forward.
