Patch 11.0.5 Changes That Will Impact Your Nerub-ar Palace Raid
With large class changes in Patch 11.0.5, there are some notable changes that will impact your Nerub-ar Palace raid including on Mythic Broodtwister!
Patch 11.0.5 Class Tuning
There are a lot of class reworks and changes coming in the Patch will has affected the DPS and HPS performance of many specs. You can see the full list of 11.0.5 changes, or see the quick summary below.
Fury Warrior Target Cap
The single target damage changes are going to be impactful, but of particular note, I wanted to highlight the loss in Burst AoE from Fury Warriors. Fury Warriors were consistency used to burst down many adds on Rasha'nan, Broodtwister and Queen Ansurek.
Expect these to die slightly slower than previously.
Mythic Broodtwister Ovinax
Broodtwister Ovin'ax Egg breaks are 50 seconds apart:
- Phase 1: 0:45, 1:35, 2:25
- Phase 2: 3:40, 4:30, 5:20
- Phase 3: 6:35, 7:25, 8:15
Evokers were commonly used on the Triangle marker to knock every Parasite set. With Patch 11.0.5 and more classes being able to become Dracthyr, the cooldown has been increased:
- For Evokers, Wing Buffet cooldown is now 1 minute (was 45 or 90 sec)
- For non-Evokers, Wing Buffet cooldown is 3 minutes
This means that an Evoker can no longer solo triangle marker and you'll have to make some plans for it. The good news is, there's not that much that needs to change considering Druids can still knock every set.
Assuming Evoker to Triangle, and a Druid on Diamond:
- For Phase 1, an Evoker can still knock the 1st set, but you will need an additional knock on the 2nd.
- For Phase 2, raid leaders will have to place Triangle on the Parasite set. Some strategies previously had diamond on the parasite sets in Phase 2 and will need to change things around.
- For Phase 3, Evokers will be able to knock the 7th and 9th set, and you'll need a backup on the 8th assuming you're doing all the breaks.
