Turns out Pokemon cards might be worth a thing or two if you keep hold of the right ones for long enough. Just this week, a rare Pikachu Illustrator card sold for $2 million. That card and any others you might hope to sell years from now need to be kept in good condition, of course, and one way to help ensure that happens is by keeping them in stacking tins. Whether you have some already or not, three brand new designs are coming in 2024, and you can pre-order them right now.
Pre-orders for all three stacking tins are available through the Best Buy link in the box below. One is adorned with a selection of Psychic-type Pokemon, another with Steel-types, and a third featuring Dragon Pokemon. Even though the store listing reads you can choose which stacking tin you get, there doesn't appear to be an option that lets you pick. It may well be a case of placing your order and hoping you get your favorite or buying three in the hope Best Buy figures you want one of each.
Each tin costs $14.99 and all three designs will be released on March 1, 2024. It isn't just a snazzy tin for your Pokemon cards you get for your $15. Inside you'll find three booster packs and two sheets of stickers. Subtract the usual cost of booster packs, and you're actually getting a tin for a pretty low price. Plus, one of them has Gengar on, and if I know anything about Pokemon fans, it's that all of them love Gengar.
The Pokemon TCG's stacking tins come in three different designs, each featuring a certain type of Pokemon. One for Psychic-types, another for Steel, and a third for Dragon. All tins have three booster packs and two sticker sheets inside.
Pokemon fans with a penchant for tins are eating well right now. Not only are new stacking tins coming
