Pokemon Concierge was released on Netflix earlier this week, and the reception to the show has been nothing but unbridled praise and joy. Many are loving it for its relaxing vibes and stop-motion aesthetic, and the only criticism that people seem to have is that there isn't enough of it.
Pokemon Concierge isn't like most Netflix shows, in that it's a four-episode one-off series that isn't getting any more seasons and never planned to. It's much more of an experimental show from Netflix and Nintendo, offering a more mature Pokemon story free from the drama of capturing Pokemon and battling them against each other.
It's proven extremely popular though, perhaps more popular than both Netflix and the show's creators expected. Despite only having been released a couple of days ago, fans are calling en masse for more episodes to be made, unsatisfied with the amount of time they got to spend at the Pokemon Hotel with Haru and friends.
Obviously, the makers of Pokemon Concierge couldn't cram over 1,000 Pokemon into a four-episode series, so many want more so they can potentially see their favorite in the show's unique art style. There are also calls for Game Freak to take note of Pokemon Concierge's popularity as well, with fans asking for a cozy game with similar vibes to the show, akin to something like Animal Crossing, but with Pokemon instead.
