launches on PC and current and last-gen consoles next month., including 4K support.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III launches on November 10th, 2023. PC gamers can pick it up for $69.99 from either Steam or Activision Blizzard’s Battle.net. According to the game’s new PC trailer, it supports 4K resolution, ultra-widescreen. The game also supports Nvidia DLSS 3 sampling and Nvidia Reflex latency reduction and features Activision’s Ricochet anti-cheat system. It additionally boasts over 500 customization options on PC, with Activision showing off some of them in the new trailer. The company also says the trailer’s footage was captured on a PC using a GeForce RTX graphics card.
The trailer also showed off some of the major features coming to all versions of the game. This includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s Zombies mode. Zombie modes have been a recurring element in Call of Duty for years, but never the Modern Warfare series until now. The upcoming game’s version of Zombies is a squad-based extraction mode that continues the franchise’s long-running Dark Aether storyline.
Activision has not officially published Modern Warfare III’s minimum and recommended PC system requirements. However, the game’s open beta starts today for all PlayStation users and those who pre-ordered on Xbox and PC. Meanwhile, all users on all platforms can jump in from October 14th to 16th. That should give PC gamers an opportunity to find out if their system can handle the new game.
