Call of Duty fans are waiting for that next major release to come out this November. We’re inching our way closer to the launch date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. However, you might be keen on at least trying this game out. Fortunately, there are beta weekends, which we just saw our first already come out. However, we’re now getting the second weekend for beta access, with the developers highlighting some changes made to the game. After all, these beta tests are a great way to check out the game while providing the development teams some insight into areas that require some slight tweaking before it’s ready for an official release.
Thanks to VGC, we’re finding out the patch notes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s second beta weekend has come out. For instance, players can expect two modes and maps for this beta. Players will get to go through Cutthroat and Search & Destroy game modes. Meanwhile, the maps featured will be Highrise and Orlov Military Base, otherwise known as Ground War. With that said, there are some general updates made to the gameplay mechanics and weapons. For instance, one of the changes is that enemy operators will feature a red nameplate above their heads. Several weapons were nerfed in this beta as well, which can be detailed below.
Then, of course, the developers were able to address some of the stability issues that had come up from the past beta. Hopefully, that means this second wave of players to try the game out won’t have any issues like crashes forcing you out of the game. But again, being a beta, you might still want to go in with the expectation of some issues popping up.
