Sony offer knocks up to $30 / £30 off the price when you buy two eligible PS5 items
Sony has launched a PlayStation Direct promotion which knocks up to $30 / £30 / €30 off the price when purchasing two eligible PlayStation 5 products.
PlayStation Plus members receive the headline discount, which is automatically applied at the checkout, while everyone else gets a $15 / £15 / €15 discount.
Running until October 27, the ‘Bundle & Save’ promotion is valid on select PS5 hardware, accessories and software. It excludes pre-orders, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 products and PlayStation VR2.
Before purchasing, it’s always worth checking prices elsewhere, as even with the discount applied, PlayStation Direct might not be the cheapest place to buy the given products.
Sony will release a smaller PS5 model in November in the US, before launching it in other regions in the following months.
Like the PS5 launch model, the new one will be available in standard and Digital editions. According to Sony, the new console has been reduced in volume by more than 30%, and in weight by 18% and 24% respectively compared to the current one.
Unlike the launch model, the new PS5 Digital Edition will support an attachable Blu-ray disc drive, which can be purchased separately.
Sony launched PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium members in Japan this week, ahead of its rollout in Europe on October 23 and in the US on October 30.
