Trading-Up Crests in Patch 10.2
In Patch 10.2, players will be able to exchange lower tier crests for higher tier crests once they no longer need them. In other words, once each piece of gear has reached a certain item level, you can trade crests you don't need anymore for crests you can use!
The Patch 10.2 crests are:
- Whelpling's Dreaming Crest
- Drake's Dreaming Crest
- Wyrm's Dreaming Crest
- Aspect's Dreaming Crest
- Crests can now be traded up for higher-level Crests once reaching the lower level Crest’s item level or higher.
For example: Using Season 2 item level numbers, players would become eligible to trade their Whelpling Crests up to Drake Crests when every gear slot had reached item level 411 or higher. Trading up to Wyrm Crests would become available at 424 (again, in every gear slot, using the same rules as crest redundancy), and trading up to Aspect Crests would open at 437.
How to Unlock Crest Trading
In order to unlock the option to trade-in your crests for higher version, you must have a piece of gear that is at least a certain item level. Once you reach this item level you will earn an achievement and Emerald Flightstone
- Whelping to Drake — Dreaming of Drakes — Achieve at least item level 450 in every slot.
- Drake to Wyrm — Dreaming of Wyrms — Achieve at least item level 463 in every slot.
- Wyrm to Aspect — Dreaming of Wyrms — Achieve at least item level 476 in every slot.
Once you receive the relevant achievement, Vaskarn will now have a new crest trade available!
