RuneScape is enhancing some visuals this week, with a new round of graphical and color improvements. Jagex also announced Double XP details, bonuses, and even morevisual updates on the way in the coming weeks.
Visual improvements in this patch affect things like pets, enemies, environments, and yes, outfits. You’ll look more fashionable than ever, and sharper too, since the patch enhances color, texture, and shading to improve a variety of options. Entrana also gets a few bits of graphical polish, with more on the way over the next month or so. The island has updated geography and a new boat for the monks after today’s patch.
Double XP is coming back on Friday, with a bit of a twist this time. You can still pick any 48 hours of in-game time during the 10 day event period to earn yourself double XP. you can still pause the countdown to use your 48 hours when you want to. You can still trade some of those hours with Vic the Trader.
But this time, expect DXP Tokens. DXP Tokens are a new event currency that will roll over into future Double XP events if you don’t redeem them all this time. Rack them up by skilling or using Proteans and Dummies, then exchange them for stars, elite skilling outfit pieces, and a few items from Vic the Trader too. Double XP starts Friday, November 10th through November 20th.
There's also a special bonus for bonds starting this week. from November 8th through the end of the year, anyone redeeming Bonds in the in-game marketplace will get a bonus on things like membership time, Treasure Hunter keys, and coins.
