It's that time of the year again for Minecraft fans, the time that Mojang pits the fanbase against each other to vote for one of three new mobs that will be added to the game in the near future. This year, fans are being asked to choose between armadillos, penguins, or crabs, with each one placed in a different biome along with a useful ability or item drop. However, it seems like Minecraft fans are beginning to get sick of the whole concept entirely.
A very popular post on the Minecraft subreddit has been attracting attention recently, which involves user half_eaten_pretzel complaining about why fans of the title have to vote for the mobs in the first place, disappointed that Mojang isn't just adding all three. It's an understandable complaint, especially since the mobs that lose the vote are thrown into a vault never to be seen again, and it's becomingly an increasingly common view amongst Minecraft fans, with the post racking up 6.5k upvotes at the time of writing.

Carry on scrolling and you'll find hundreds of fans disappointed they're being made to choose between what would have been three quite exciting additions to the game, if two of them weren't disappearing forever. User AchtungToaster says that they're "getting tired" of mob votes altogther and would rather have Mojang focus on new features instead, while user Futuf1 is fed up of having to vote for which two mobs they want to sacrifice, and that Mojang putting this kind of choice to its fans "just shouldn't even be a thing".
