Now that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has been defeated in court, and the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has been appeased, Microsoft is pretty much guaranteed to finally get its acquisition of Activision Blizzard over the line at some point this year. Ever since Microsoft announced its intention to acquire Activision Blizzard, questions have been asked over which of the publisher's massive titles will be headed to Xbox Game Pass in the proceeding months and years.
Activision Blizzard has been reluctant to promise gamers that massive titles like Diablo 4 - and the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - will be on the service the moment the publisher becomes part of the Xbox family, but it has now stated in a recent post on Twitter that it will begin working with Xbox to see which of its games will be a good fit for the service once the deal officially closes.

In a tweet released earlier today, Activision Blizzard explained that it "anticipates" that it will start adding games to Xbox Game Pass as early as next year, though it doesn't state which games. Activision Blizzard has never seemed too keen on putting its biggest games on Game Pass on the day of their releases, but the publisher has an enormous vault full of interesting and beloved titles that would no doubt bolster the service's lineup regardless.
