In a trailer posted online, Minecraft has revealed a new crossover with Mega Man X. With Minecraft's many crossovers, the game continues to bring in new players from across the gaming spectrum.
After Minecraft's release in 2011, the game has been kept alive by the fan community's passion for the game, and the modding community's dedication to adding new custom content to the game. But special credit must also go to Mojang, with the company continuously releasing official new content for the game to keep players interested and engaged. Mojang has done so not just through paid DLC, but through free updates that continuously add new things for players to see and do. Minecraft's upcoming 1.20 update promises to be the one of the biggest yet, with new mobs, new biomes, and the addition of archeology all coming to the game.

The Minecraft and Mega Man X crossover has come out of nowhere, with Mojang announcing that there'll be no wait for the DLC pack – it's available immediately for purchase. The trailer posted by Minecraft shows off what players can expect if they pick up the crossover, featuring the original Mega Man X soundtrack in-game, 14 classic skins, and recreations of iconic levels from the series featuring boss battles. Most recently, Minecraft crossed over with Avatar: The Last Airbender, releasing a number of skins from the series into the game.
