MaxSun has unveiled its brand new MGG "Mega Gamer GPU" lineup of custom cards in GeForce RTX 4080 & 4070 Ti flavors with five cooling fans.
This new MaxSun Mega Gamer GPU series or MGG, graphics cards are designed to place the fans on a single side and also incorporate the choice of either an aRGB lighting strip or LED matrix display that can be customized with text or limited pixeled images (the text would be much easier to pull off, but if someone can get DOOM to play on it, contact us).
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series cards used for this model will be the RTX 4070 Ti and the RTX 4080 graphics cards. The two models will also have factory overclocking prepared, but MaxSun has not defined the information on the base and boost clocks. The only specs mentioned are for the RTX 4080 MGG which is said to feature a 2625 MHz boost clock and a 360W TGP so that's 120 MHz higher boost clocks and a 40W higher TGP than the reference variant.
MaxSun is also known for the iCraft series graphics cards, and the new Mega Gamer series is expected to be a premium lineup. The iCraft series feature anime-inspired designs which have also become very popular amongst gamers.
The MaxSun MGG is definitely a unique approach to custom designs. The last five-fan cooling solution that we got was the Gigabyte SOC all the way back in the GeForce 600 series generation. Since then, most companies have offered triple or quad-fan designs. GALAX has been offering a quad-fan solution on its EX Gamer lineup which we reviewed on several occasions such as this once.
It is unknown availability or pricing at this time. Still, the new MaxSun Mega Gamer graphics card is anticipated to reach the Chinese marketplace on online retail sites such as Jingdong (JD.com). Will
