GeForce NOW now has over 1,500 games in its library, and NVIDIA is celebrating the milestone in style this GFN Thursday with new additions, a new free reward for Marvel's Midnight Suns, and a new city in Eastern Europe getting upgraded to RTX 4080 SuperPODs.
By highlighting how the GeForce NOW library now features 1,500 titles, NVIDIA also confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077's Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode will be available on the service via RTX 4080 SuperPODs, which are available in select cities worldwide. The latest city to get the upgrade is Sofia, Bulgaria, finally giving those living in the city the chance to experience the best of GeForce NOW Ultimate cloud gaming.
CD PROJEKT RED will be delivering full ray tracing, aka path tracing, to Cyperpunk 2077.Such effects were previously only possible for film and TV. With the power of a GeForce RTX 4080 gaming rig in the cloud, Ultimate members will be able to stream the new technology preview for the Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode coming to Cyberpunk 2077 across devices — even Macs — no matter the game’s system requirements.
It wouldn't be a proper GFN Thursday without new game announcements, and today, five new games are getting added to the service, including two brand new releases. These games are Tchia, Chess Ultra, Amberial Dreams, Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga, and No One Survived. GeForce NOW Ultimate and Priority members who opted into the rewards program will also get Captain Marvel's Medieval Marvel Suit as a free reward for Marvel's Midnight Suns. The reward will be available from the end of the month until May 6th.
More information on GeForce NOW can be found on NVIDIA's official website, including details on the different membership tiers.
