Fortnite Battle Royal Chapter 4 Season 2: Mega is now available
Fortnite‘s latest season, Mega, has arrived.
The new season brings new map locations, points of interest, and a new futuristic biome.
Several classic weapons have been unvaulted, and this season’s guest character, Eren Jaeger from the Attack on Titan anime, has been confirmed.
Players who purchase this season’s Battle Pass will automatically unlock the fine-tailored Renzo the Destroyer as well as “streetwear savant” Thunder, the elegantly casual Highwire, and more original Fortnite Outfits as players progress through the Season.
This season’s guest character is Eren Jaeger from popular anime Attack on Titan. Like Geralt of Rivia last season, the new character will be able to be unlocked later in the season, although it’s not currently clear when.
New vehicles are also being added to the game this season, including the Rogue Bike, which can hold two players, and the four-seater Nitro Drifter.
Mega City, which is the game’s most significant new area, includes new rails to grind on, and a neo-Tokyo aesthetic.
Several new weapons, including the Kinetic Blade, the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle, the Havoc Pump Shotgun and the Overclocked Pulse Rifle have also been added to the game.
Classic weapons such as the Heavy Sniper Rifle, the Cobra DMR and the Combat Shotgun have been unvaulted, adding them back into the loot pool for the season.
The heavily rumored first-person mode has not been included in this update, but it’s likely that it’ll be added later in the season.
