Fortnite Spring Breakout Event Update 24.10 Adds Free Items, XP, and More

Epic Games introduces the latest limited time event into Fortnite, bringing back Spring Breakout complete with Easter themed cosmetics, quests, and rewards. It's been a pretty busy season already for Fortnite, which introduced the Mega season a few weeks back. The update added a cyberpunk style futuristic city called Mega City which came with a new grind rail system, vehicles, and new weapons like the devastating and fast moving Fortnite Kinetic Blade.

As a live service title, Epic Games is always tweaking the game and its available content to ensure it continues feeling fresh and getting players to log in each day. Of course, it has big seasonal updates with new battle pass content, though Epic Games has also relied heavily on limited time crossovers and events.
