The Marvel slate is looking a little barren in 2024 when compared to other years as of late, and that's probably a good thing. Between TV shows on Disney Plus and MCU blockbusters not making as much as they used to, a year in which there isn't as much Marvel content may well make more casual fans hungry for what's still to come. That said, there will still be some new Marvel stuff in 2024, and two of its biggest upcoming projects already have their own Funko Pops.
Comfortably the biggest thing Marvel has got going on in 2024 is Deadpool 3. If anything is capable of kickstarting the MCU's box office numbers, a movie in which the merc with a mouth is incorporated into its multiverse is what's going to do it. Not to mention Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine. No word yet on whether the iconic blue and yellow look Jackman will sport in the movie will be Funko-fied, but the star of the threequel is getting seven new Pops.
Since Deadpool 3 won't be here until the summer, there's no way of knowing if these new looks will be ones we see in the movie. Whether we do or not, they're all pretty amusing, and now I need a shelf in my house dedicated to Deadpool figures. You can grab the one that puts the anti-hero in lederhosen, have him dressed as a park ranger, or my personal favorite, bowling Deadpool complete with a ball modeled after his own head.
Deadpool does it all, and that includes bowling. Proving he also looks good in just about anything, this Pop! has him in brightly-colored bowling shoes and a ball modeled after his own head.
Not a part of the MCU but still generating a lot of excitement is X-Men '97. A reboot of the animated series from the 1990s coming to Disney Plus in 2024, and it's also getting its own Funko Pops. Four of them so far, all of them iconic mutants that will return in animated form this year sporting the same looks that they did 25 years ago, and will again in the rebooted show. Gambit, Cyclops, Magneto, and Bishop, all available now for $15 each
