Diablo 4 is Blizzard's fastest-selling game of all time, locking in a whopping $666 million during the game's first five days. During Friday's Diablo 4 Campfire Chat, the development team revealed that the game has already been played for over 350 million hours within the first 10 days.
Despite these phenomenal stats, the developers have also claimed that the vast majority of Diablo 4 players have yet to complete the Campaign. Earlier this week, the Diablo team released the game's Week 1 Launch Stats. In addition to the 350 million hours played, there have also been over 300 million character deaths, nearly 6 million Butcher kills, as well as nearly 3 billion total monsters killed! Since Diablo 4's first Season is still about a month away, players will have plenty of time to finish up the Campaign, try different endgame builds, and generally enjoy the environment of Sanctuary.
While Season 1 is just on the horizon, the development team has discussed many quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes that will be coming with or before Season 1, including a buff to Nightmare Dungeons, a fix to the Druid's loot table, and permanently discovered Areas and Altars of Lilith for all future characters.
