Regarding Diablo, the franchise just received a new major installment. The folks over at Blizzard recently released Diablo 4, and if you picked up a copy, then you might have noticed an interesting advantage on PC. If you’re on the PC platform, you can speed through the environments much faster than a console player. Reddit user Competitive-Trade-16 took to the Diablo 4 subreddit and highlighted their recent discovery. It was a video showcasing how PC players are faster on a mount than the console platform alternative. Now fans of the game are throwing out their opinions on what is causing this issue. As it turns out, this issue might be caused by a computer mouse being able to further reach a farther point on the screen than a joystick.
Apparently, when you’re on a controller, the joystick can only go up to a certain point on the screen. This sets up the speed your mount will ride at. However, on PC, the mouse can go beyond the very edge of the screen, which allows the mount to ride quite a bit faster, which is what we see in the video that was posted on Reddit.
Of course, this might be adjusted to allow console players to gain faster speeds or lower mount speeds on PC players. Regardless, it’s an interesting find that was possible due to Diablo 4 being available to play through crossplay.
