Pious gamers have been sending hopeful prayers to RNGesus for as long as the medium has existed, and our dice-headed deity is a fickle one. Sometimes it's just nice to know what you're up against, though; a Blizzard dev has cleared up some confusion regarding some of Diablo 4's rarest unique items.
Lead class designer Adam Jackson took to Twitter to post a clarification regarding the six rarest unique items currently in the game — Doombringer, The Grandfather, Andariel's Visage, Harlequin's Crest, Melted Heart of Selig, and the Ring of Starless Skies.
Always dropping at 820 Item Power from enemies level 85+, Jackson says these unique are «realllly rare!», and so if you've been hunting for a while and are still coming up empty handed, blame the dastardly numbers that are the true Prime Evil.
