Over the weekend, we shared some new information from Diablo 4 Lead Class Designer, Adam Jackson, about how the six rarest Unique items in Diablo 4 might be found. We know that these items can only drop from level 85+ enemies, but what if we told you that there might be a way to target-farm these Unique items by focusing on specific monster families? The Diablo 4 community, along with Maxroll.gg has put together some interesting lists about the best places where players might be able to find these Unique items.

Nightmare Dungeons to Farm for Uniques Dungeons By Monster Family The theory that specific monster families can drop specific items was briefly mentioned by the Diablo 4 developers long ago. However, this theory has been making its way back into the community conversation by players who are interested in target-farming these rare Unique items.

In case you haven't heard, the Monster Family theory suggests that specific monster types (Cannibals, for example) are more likely to drop certain items (Axes and Helms for Cannibals). If this is true, then that means that since is a Helm, it is more likely to drop from an enemy of the Cannibal Monster Family.

If this Monster Family theory turns out to be true, then that means that other Unique items should be able to be target-farmed by continuously killing level 85+ enemies of a specific Monster Family. And this is where the community has put together a couple of great resources in order to suggest locations where these Unique items might have the highest chance of dropping.
