Sony and Insomniac are preparing to ramp up the marketing for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, having showed off new gameplay and revealed new details on the sequel in recent weeks. To that end, as promised, the game’s title track was also debuted recently, at yesterday’s The Game Awards 10-Year Concert in Los Angeles.
Titled “Greater Together”, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s main theme is composed by John Paesano, who was also the composer for both of Insomniac’s previous Spider-Man titles. With Peter Parker and Miles Morales both being featured as the game’s central protagonists, the main theme mixes together motifs related to both characters, while the story’s darker tone is also represented with a suitably ominous section towards the end. Give it a listen below.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20 exclusively for the PS5. Details on the game’s Deluxe and Collector’s Editions were also revealed earlier this month. Read more on that through here.
