With the world of Sanctuary being so beloved, Diablo 4 is no different — and some players have made a massive discovery that allowed them to translate the written language the Cathedral of Light uses! In a Reddit thread, user u/TheoryOfN revealed that they and several other players were able to translate the Cathedral of Light script using a key found in the Collector's Art Book.

It seems that Blizzard really liked the way the script looked — so they just kept using it!All images provided by u/TheoryOfN While we understand the sheer amount of work it would have taken to have actual coherent and translatable words on the Cathedral assets around Sanctuary, we can't help be a little disappointed — after all, how interesting would it have been for secret lore to be hiding on the walls of Inarius' Sanctum? What we do know, however, is that the Cathedral just really, really likes dogs — give them an extra pet around Sanctuary for them!
