Ubisoft have launched For Honor update 2.45, the game’s biggest update of the year. Available to download for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this latest patch introduces a new playable hero as well as a performance mode on consoles.
Let’s start with the Ocelotl, For Honor’s latest addition to the warrior roster. In recent years, the team at Ubisoft Montreal have steered away from their initial focus on Knights, Vikings, and Samurai to incorporate fighters from other regions and cultures, the Ocelotl representing the ferocity of an Aztec fighter.
There’s also good news for console players with the arrival of new performance mode settings. You can now toggle between “quality” and “performance” mode to help dial up framerate of visual fidelity, depending on your hardware. Full details can be found here.
Description
The Ocelotl hail from the great Aztec Empire. Master hunters, their name means “Jaguar Warrior” in their native tongue of Nahuatl. The Ocelotl stalk their enemies with predator patience — only to tear them to shreds in moments. Efficient and calculating, they wield a macuahuitl club and tepoztopilli spear to maul their prey as the situation warrants. They are ferocious fighters who never forget a grudge.
