what is the point of the playstation Q? Can someone please tell me.
I think it is so you can play the new Mortal Kombat game whilst on the bog.
It's a remote play device. Pretty simple.
@psnut101 Some of us share the TV with a family member or partner. It's not too hard to imagine the benefit of not having to argue whether they can watch sports or you can play Vampire Survivors.
Also for me personally, I watch a lot of cycling on the telly. Races can last eight hours, and not all of it is exciting. So I've already played a lot of Switch games during these moments. That's a nice feature.
so there's no point to it then. If you have a ps5 it should be played on a big screen not a phone sized screen.
I know it's simple. but there's no point to it when you can't play anywhere other than right next to a ps5.
as for watching cycling on TV that can be watched on any device.
@psnut101 You can. Anywhere where you've got WLAN access. You don't have to be right next to your PS5.
so that's the same WLAN the ps5 is on yes?
Not something I'll make use of, but say, you only have one television and it's being used for something else.
You have no television in the bedroom but want to lay down and continue playing.
You want to play but spend time outside.
Maybe you're at a library, school, coffee shop, mall, work, train, wedding, airport… literally anywhere there's Wi-fi and you can play your PS5 remotely.
It has its uses but it's not something I'll be buying.
@psnut101 No, you can use it anywhere as long as there is Wi-Fi access.
but it has to connect to your own ps5?
@psnut101 Yes, as it is a remote play device.
so why not invest in an app that does the same. Most phone are overpowered and can easily do that and more???
@psnut101 There
