Cyberpunk 2077 has three distinct "lifepaths" to choose from at the beginning of the game, but you'd be forgiven for forgetting they happened at all. They were a huge part of the marketing ahead of launch, but in the final game, their main use is the occasional unique dialogue option and a small side quest. But now, players who went for the Corpo background are feeling more hard done by than them all, saying that Street Kids and Nomads had way more to do in Night City.
This comes from a conversation started by a player on their second run of the game, feeling that there aren't many opportunities to explore the corporations that make Night City the living nightmare that it is. Others agree, also pointing out that none of the romance options are from the Corpo scene, better representing the Street Kid and Nomad lifepaths instead.

"Anyone else feel like a Corpo side story was missing?" asks Reddit user obiwanTrollnobi6. "Like you got Panam (Nomad) and Judy (Street Kid) each of those side stories/quests really fit well with [the] lifepath you choose."
"Yeah, it does feel a bit lacking," replies Setekh_Hazen. "Could've used a bit of side action with Takemura."
AgentSinistar, however, has a theory on why there aren't many Corpo-centric side missions: "There’s no Corpo side story because there’s no human connection, because everyone is in it for themselves."
On the other hand, others point to the fact that the main story is already so Corpo-focused that additional side stories centred around these big companies just weren't necessary.
