CD Projekt Red has already suggested that Cyberpunk 2077's upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty, will overhaul everything. Now, as fans are invited to play the DLC early, we have some more details on the specific changes coming to the game, including the ability to completely rework your character.
According to early players, Phantom Liberty lets you fully respec your character. Not only can you reset your perks, but you can also redistribute all of your attributes, redesigning your character without having to restart the game. The expansion will also apparently open up more areas in Night City, with more routes added in the Badlands.

Of course, this info comes from fans playing the game early as part of the Phantom Liberty tour, so leave room for doubt as some new features may have been misinterpreted. Players are said to get around an hour with the demo, so understandably, many would be rushing to see as much of the main story as they can.
Still, Reddit user ParkerP11 has shared a list of details based on experience with the demo, claiming that we can fully respec our characters and find new locations in the base game map. On top of this, the level cap is said to have been increased to 70, so you won't have to make a new character to make the most of the new features.
Netrunning also appears to have been massively overhauled, making the build much more action-packed.
