The upcoming movie won’t be following the blueprint of classic superhero films, with its director calling the upcoming film “a tragedy” in a recent interview.
Speaking to Esquire, equated the movie to a tragedy, saying that both he and star Aaron Taylor-Johnson pulled from the characters’ more dark undertones in Marvel Comics as a source. By the end of the film, said Chandor, he hopes fans know Kraven’s story won’t be a hopeful one.
