Amazon is kicking off its 48-hour Prime Day 2023 sale on July 11, but leading up to the big event you’ll find tons of great freebies from Prime Gaming . This includes everything from in-game content for Diablo IV and Warzone to entirely free games like Prey and Shovel Knight: Showdown.
The action begins today and will run through July 11--giving you a reason to check back every week. Keep in mind that you need to be a Prime member to cash in on the event. New members can sign up for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial. But if you aren't eligible, it'll only cost $15 to shop all of the Prime Day deals and get (and keep!) the free games. You can sign up for one month, take advantage of the deals, and then cancel. Plus, you'll also be able to claim the regular monthly free games in both June and July.
Prey is available for free for a month, offering a sci-fi adventure developed by the same folks behind Dishonored and Deathloop. This is a GOG code, so it's DRM-free. Next up is Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition on June 27, Shovel Knight: Showdown on July 6, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on July 10. Be sure to check out the official Prime Gaming page to learn how to cash in on each of the freebies.
A bunch of free in-game content is also up for grabs. Here’s a look at what Prime members can get (and when they can get it):
Beyond all the cool perks leading up to Prime Day, you can also cash in on this month’s Free Games with Prime catalog. This includes Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, Sengoku 2, Mutation Nation, Over Top, and a few other games. There’s also a bunch of other goodies arriving later this month--so keep your eyes glued to the official Prime Gaming website for updates.
