Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Ishin! will join the Xbox Game Pass library in the coming weeks, Microsoft confirmed today.
During the Tokyo Game Show 2023 Showcase, the head of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, Masayoshi Yokoyama, announced that the latest entry in the series launching on November 9th on PC and consoles, will join the Xbox Game Library day and date. Like a Dragon: Ishin!, the spin-off set in Feudal Japan released earlier this year, will also be joining the Xbox Game Pass library before the end of 2023.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is going to be a rather interesting game. Detailing the story of the series' protagonist Kazuma Kiryu after he faked his own death and abandoned his name to protect his family, the upcoming spin-off will see a return of the brawler combat system featured in previous entries in the series. The events of Gaiden will also prepare players for the next entry in the series, which launches on January 26th.
