Paradox Interactive’s The Sims rival, Life By You, has been delayed once again, with the new Early Access release date now set for 4th June 2024.
Developed by Paradox Tectonic, a team led by The Sims veteran Rod Humble, Life By You will have another three months in the crockpot, to let the team further refine the visuals for the human characters and continue to improve gameplay. The game’s Early Access was original intended for September 2023, but was previously pushed back to March, and now June 2024.
As part of this, any pre-orders on Epic have now been cancelled, and pre-orders will not be re-enabled on either Epic or Steam. The pre-order perks of the Life Begins Pack and the Nightlife Vibes Pack will be made available to everyone at launch now.
For those who pre-ordered through Epic, please be on the lookout for an email from Epic. We’ve worked with our partners to make sure that your support does not go unnoticed, and appreciate your patience!

You’ll be able to take direct control of people (any person in the world) and move them
