Electronic Arts has released its upcoming title, Plants vs Zombies 3, the latest entry in the tower defense strategy franchise, for early access on Android and iOS in multiple regions. Right now, early access is available in the Philippines, Australia and the United Kingdom, with more regions expected down the line.
Plants vs Zombies 3 was soft-launched in February 2020 in the Philippines, Romania and Ireland before being made unavailable to play later that year. As a result of the feedback, EA opted to make changes to improve the game. It was soft-launched again on September 7, 2021. This is the third soft-launch of the game.
Players must defeat the evil Dr. Zomboss and his Brainiac minions. The wicked doctor plans to conquer the town by using the Devour Tower and Brain Fog! Therefore, players must engage in exciting tower defense battles and deploy their plants strategically to stop their plans!
Additionally, iconic plants from across the series, such as Peashooter, Sunflower and Bonk Choy return in Plants vs Zombies 3. Players act as one of the Commanders in Leaf. They must make critical decisions about where to deploy plants, manage upgrades and level up their plants to face the zombie invasion!
Connect and play with friends and other zombie armies to test your skills in online battle! Compete in Arena Mode and advance through the many League Tiers. Players can earn gems and seeds to upgrade their plant army! They can also join or create clubs to connect with other players. Additionally, donate seeds to access exclusive Club plants.
Plants vs Zombies 3 is available for Android and iOS users in select regions, including the Google Play Store and App Store. An official global release date has yet to be announced.
