The news was shared on Weibo, stating they have industry insider information. The source also agrees with earlier reports of an increase in display size for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. As mentioned earlier, the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature the same display size as the current models but the bezels would be greatly shrunk down. We have previously shown the dummy units of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The slimmed-down bezels would give the devices a brand-new look as far as the front of the device is concerned.
It is now being reported that the increased display size of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro will make room within the device, which could be used for various purposes. For instance, Apple could house bigger sensors and fit a bigger battery. Take note that the news is not official yet, and Apple could see fit to add an additional component to take the extra space. It was previously rumored that the iPhone 15 Pro models would come with solid-state buttons. These buttons would require additional Taptic Engines under the buttons for proper haptics.
