IllFonic’s heads to PAX East 2024 with hands-on sessions and a panel with the creators of both the game and the film.
It will mark the first time the game will be playable for the public at IllFonic’s booth on the show floor from Thursday, March 21, 2024. It’s unconfirmed if The Dickies’ catchy theme song will be playing on a loop.
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, a panel discussion about the game will be held. Present for that will be members of the IllFonic design team alongside Killer Klowns creators, The Chiodo Brothers. The Brothers may also be popping into the booth to play the game with players.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space will look to be very faithful to the cult movie as it is made in collaboration with creators Chiodo Brothers. Plus, the game’s score also comes from the movie’s composer, John Massari.
The game sees players able to become the Killer Klowns and cooperate in a team of three players, utilize unworldly abilities, hunt humans with zany weapons, and plan their alien invasion to harvest the population of Crescent Cove successfully.
But if players feel more rebellious, then they can fight back as a team of seven brave citizens of Crescent Cove. Players can explore the city for valuable loot and weapons, whilst avoiding capture by Klowns as they try to survive the alien invasion.
