Out now on PS5, the Stellar Blade demo offers up the first hour-and-a-bit of the Sony-published action title. As its April release date nears, it feels like anticipation for this flashy action game is at an all-time high — and first impressions have been positive pretty much across the board.
«This feels like the type of game fans have been demanding from PlayStation for a while: original, single player-centric, and gameplay focused,» is what we wrote in our Stellar Blade PS5 preview. Needless to say, we're looking forward to that aforementioned launch date.

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.

Glad I played it, because until today I wasn't interested in the slightest. Well, now I am.
The demo was brilliant as expected, so 100% I am going to get it, but not day one as I have too much of a backlog of games that I definitely want to play. I suppose it will be a bit cheaper when I do which is worth it because if I buy it full price at launch, it is going to sit on the shelf for a few months anyway.
