Helldivers 2 has a wide variety of terrain to overcome, each one filled with bots, bugs, and any other sentient alien race that would prefer you to be a red stain on the floor. You'll struggle to find a location as universally despised as Hellmire though, a bug-ridden planet prone to the odd fire tornado, and one that Helldivers 2 players aren't going anywhere near anytime soon.
Reddit user Soomiyoo recently shared a simplified version of the Galactic Map on the Helldivers subreddit earlier this week, truly driving home just how much players hate Hellmire. The exception to this is a fully red dot that can be seen on the now decimated Terminid front, and you won't get any prizes for guessing which planet it might be. Yes, this map is pretty solid proof that even if the commands come from Super Earth itself, nobody wants to try fighting on Hellmire at the moment, and there are plenty of reasons as to why.
For starters, as Reddit user Elgescher points out, Hellmire has already been liberated multiple times since launch, but has quickly fallen back into the hands (claws?) of the Terminids on every single occasion. There are a lot of people simply sick and tired of fighting on the planet, and you can understand why when you find out just how desolate the entire thing is.
Not only is Hellmire filled with bugs, it's full of fire tornadoes too, making it one of the most inhospitable planets in the game. Reddit user Mythrilcrafter points out that there's absolutely no reason for either humans or Terminids to want the planet, given how aggressively barren and hostile it is to anyone that steps foot on it, and even if it was successfully liberated, humans couldn't establish any settlements due to copious amounts of extremely lethal
