Human Fall Flat 2 has been announced, a sequel to the breakout physics-based puzzle platformer by No Brakes Games. This time around, it’s set to be published by Devolver Digital, though.
Human Fall Flat 2 promises to ramp up the puzzle platformer shenanigans with the addition of a new physics engine, new gameplay interactions and new mechanics that will try to make every level and play session sillier and more dynamic than ever. Importantly it also promises “refined controls”, which is vital within the clumsy platformer style of game.
“Each intricate level comes packed with new toys and devices to fiddle with as you’ll solve a range of fiendish puzzles on your own or in teams of up to eight friends,” the trailer blurb states.
What’s rather interesting is that Human Fall Flat 2 is being published by Devolver Digital this time around instead of Curve Games, who published the original Human Fall Flat in 2016. That brings a little added indie game cachet, given the type of games that Devolver is known for publishing and a generally high quality.
There’s no platforms announced just yet, though the game page is now up on Steam, and it’s very likely that they’ll bring the game to consoles when they can.
