There are multiple endings in , but the true ending adds extra challenges and fights. However, finding it can be confusing, as the normal ending can feel like an endless loop.

Embarking on the actual ending’s path will lock out many of the current quests. Almost all of them will instantly fail despite regaining the ability to explore the map after beating the game. It is important to finish up any side quests before heading to the final boss and confirming the ending.
As part of the primary quest mission, you will meet the NPC Ambrosius, who will tell you aboutWyrmslife Crystals. These drop from various dragon-type enemies found from around the world. Ambrosius requests that you gather at least 15 for the main questline. However, additional ones can be used as currency to buy powerful items, including ones perfect for the Magick Archer class.
Ambrosius moves around from his starting location. After speaking to him for the first time, he moves to the Forbidden Magick Research Lab. Ignore the protests from the guards that you cannot enter and hand Ambrosius the Wyrmslife Crystals. He will then forge you an Empowered Godsbane Blade .
Once you have completed every desired quest in, head to the point of no return to fight the formidable Red Dragon. Before the fight ensues, they will offer you the chance to walk away but will imprison your current love interest. This is not the true ending and should be avoided.
While it seems like the goal is to fight the final boss normally, this leads to an endless loop without a satisfying conclusion. That is officially the standard normal ending. To get the true ending, you must agree to fight the dragon normally, which will separate the Arisen from their pawns and any gear they are holding. During the controllable cutscene, betray the dragon’s deal by crawling onto its chest and “” the Empowered Godsbane Blade from your inventory screen.
