Getting and using Aideen Tokens in can feel a little strange at first, especially if you have not progressed enough through the main questline. Aideen Tokens and the Aideen Amusement Park, where they are normally used at, were introduced with the arrival of Version 2.0. In fact, they are directly related to the release of Penacony in , as they provide entertainment via mini-games and offer you tips on a special type of treasure hunt.
These Aideen Tokens are a fairly limited resource, with only a few being offered every week, though you can obtain a few extra ones if they look in the right place. While the majority of the prizes related to them are easily obtained materials that would often be overlooked, there is a chance to get the 4-star Light Cone called It’s Showtime, which fits in perfectly with Black Swan’s build in , should you not have access to her signature 5-star weapon.
To get Aideen Tokens, you will need to progress a bit through the main Trailblaze mission storyline in Penacony. Eventually, you will reach the Golden Hour Dreamscape map and, when you find and assist a character known as Firefly, you should follow her on her tour. Starting on the eastern portion, you and Firefly will proceed to the western area, where you will reach Aideen Park. Here, Firefly will talk to an NPC and they will grant you 10 Aideen Tokens for free in, all of which you must spend on the nearby mini-games.
To obtain more Aideen Tokens, you can talk to an NPC called Dancy, who is located nearby. He is recognizable by the fact that he is leaning against a light post and is vomiting a rainbow-like liquid. Dancy sells 10 Aideen Tokens per week, and you will have to wait for the weekly reset before purchasing more. You can also get some extra Aideen Tokens by accomplishing minor exploration feats and smaller side quests in the Golden Hour Dreamscape map in .
You may purchase Aideen Tokens from Dancy before meeting up with Firefly, but will be unable to use them before progressing
