If you’ve been interested in the BitCraft crafting survival MMORPG, you may have had a few search conflicts with Bitcraft, the crypto token. Given crypto and NFTs’ infamous history thus far with gaming, this may probably be an issue for those remotely interested in the game, but the BitCraft MMORPG devs have a very strong message: BitCraft (MMORPG) contains no well-known web3 components.
On the game’s official Discord server, due to an uptick of interest, likely due to interest in the crypto Bitcraft project, the devs sent out a strong, straightforward, clarifying announcement:
“BitCraft does not contain drops, NFTs, or Crypto of any kind.”
However, they’re still pretty welcoming, allowing questions to continue if need be. “If you showed up expecting crypto or the like, we hope you will still stick around to enjoy the awesome community and our game once it is out!”
If you do happen to be interested, BitCraft the MMORPG isn’t far off from release. It’s a survival game based around making encampments and villages through social activity and teamwork, with farming and exploring across massive, beautiful settings hiding bits of intrigue. Its alpha is coming up in early April, with signups open now.
If you’re here for the crypto… yeah, I’ve got nothing, sorry.
