If you can't get enough games inspired by FromSoftware's influential Souls series, you're in luck, as another one is heading our way later this year. Enotria: The Last Song was initially planned to release this spring, but has now been pushed back to 21st August. It looks fairly promising in this new gameplay trailer.
Inspired by Italian folklore, the Unreal 5-powered Enotria casts you into a world blighted by the Canovaccio, an eternal stage play in which everyone has a role but you. As the Maskless One, your job is to defeat the evil forces behind this strange curse, and so begins another Souls-like quest.
As well as being lighter in tone, the game differentiates itself by way of masks which, when equipped, provide you with bonuses for playing in specific ways. On top of that are special mask line abilities to give you an edge in combat, as well as your usual varied weapon classes.
It looks pretty good to us, but what do you think? Will you check out Enotria: The Last Song in August? Tell us in the comments section below.
