Genshin Impact Reveals New Artifacts and Weapon for Update 4.6

Genshin Impact has revealed more information about two artifact sets and a five-star weapon that will arrive in the upcoming Version 4.6. The game has already confirmed that the first part of the update will introduce Arlecchino, the long-awaited Fatui Harbinger.

Artifacts and weapons are the two main parts of each character's build, and they impact their performance on the field. Almost every five-star Genshin Impact character has a signature weapon that appears alongside them on the game's limited weapon banner.

Genshin Impact's official Twitter account has revealed more information about two new artifact sets named Unfinished Reverie and Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy, as well as Arlecchino's signature weapon, Crimson Moon's Semblence. Every character in Genshin Impact can carry up to five different artifacts, each of which provides a different stat, from flat HP to elemental damage. Every set also has a two-piece and four-piece bonus which can be triggered by carrying more pieces of the same set.

The Unfinished Reverie artifact set could be useful for some Pyro characters in Genshin Impact since it's tied to the Burning elemental reaction. Many fans have already started speculating that it will be tied to one of the upcoming Pyro users such as Xbalanque, who is expected to be the first Natlan character to join the roster. The fact that the four-piece bonus effects can be triggered when the character leaves the field could indicate that it will be the go-to set for an upcoming off-field Pyro support.

The Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy set will be the main choice for Arlecchino since its four-piece bonus can be triggered by the Bond of Life effect. This is a new mechanic that absorbs healing for the character affected by Bond of Life and provides different types of buffs. While many players expected that Bond of Life would be exclusive to Arlecchino, recent leaks have revealed that some upcoming Genshin Impact characters like Sigewinne will also have this mechanic
