Stardew Valley Player Uses A Smart Trick To Get Everyone To Move In Without Mods
A player shared an interesting way to have multiple villagers living on their farm without the need for mods. There are many ways that players can choose to play through the cozy farming simulator, and marrying villagers is one of the more popular choices that players make. Some players choose to court just one of the candidates per play through, but others choose to create a drama-filled Pelican Town fit for a soap opera. Without mods, it's possible to date multiple characters at once, but only one villager can move onto the farm, unless players use one simple workaround.
Reddit user WLOR shared an image of their farmer happily living alongside eight villagers from Pelican Town. The image shows a farm that's beautifully set up, basically replacing the town itself just with the number of houses built on their property.
Many comments questioned how that was possible, especially since WLOR mentioned this was done using "", which means it is un-modded. This was achieved by starting a multiplayer save and setting up multiple homes on their farm, but they did not mention if they were the only ones on this multiplayer save or if others joined them.
The bookseller is undoubtedly one of the best parts of Stardew Valley's 1.6 Update and a recent mode just made the merchant even more impressive.
This method looks like a peaceful option to introduce multiple villagers onto the farm. Each home can be customized, so each of the houses are unique to the villagers. A few comments joked that it felt more like an island than a farm in, but that shows how truly customizable the farms are. Each farm in has unique challenges, but setting up the multiplayer save could prove to be beneficial for more than just having multiple spouses and homes on the farm.
