Later in the month, players will also be able to use mouse and keyboard controls in the Xbox app on PC. All of the compatible games will have a mouse and keyboard badge.
Another May update addition includes a new Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II channel that features video content ahead of the game’s May 21 release date.
Compact Mode also gets a few tweaks, including the addition of “Jump back in” and “Friends” features. The former allows players to access the last nine games they have played on their Windows device. The latter now makes it easier to access the Friends panel using a controller.
While not included in this update, Microsoft is currently testing out another new feature in the Insider channels. In the future, it will be possible to preload game updates ahead of time. Sea of Thieves Insider was the first to use this feature and the full list of games that are making use of this can be seen at > > .
